How it’s used
Spray directly onto the back of the throat, the gums, or the lining of the mouth — typically two to three pumps, several times a day. Some users spray and swallow; others spray and rinse out gargle-style before swallowing. Follow the directions on the manufacturer’s pack and the advice of your pharmacist or dentist.
Common reasons to keep one in the cabinet
- After dental procedures (dental aftercare) — a traditional use of camomile and propolis-based mouth sprays for general mouth comfort
- General sore throat comfort — herbal oral sprays have a long tradition of use
- Mouth-ulcer area — applied directly to the affected spot
- Alongside daily oral hygiene — a herbal addition to regular brushing and flossing
- Compact 20 ml size fits easily in a bag or hand-luggage liquids pouch
Camomile vs chamomile
“Camomile” (UK spelling) and “chamomile” (US/international spelling) refer to plants of the same family. Chamo-Lico uses Matricaria recutita (German camomile) extract as part of its herbal blend.
Note on honey
Although the spray is sugar-free in the “no added refined sugars” sense, it does contain honey, which naturally contains fructose and glucose. People monitoring their sugar intake, or anyone with a honey allergy, should bear that in mind. Honey is not recommended for children under one year.
